Smile Ceiling Max or Ceiling Link

Hi, I need some information on preferably Ceiling Link.
I heard that it is somewhat cheaper than ceiling Max.

I am not good at all with Sq. Ft. etc.

What does Sq. Ft. = up to..(i have never had to use Sq. Ft. in this kind of way, etc.)

So how much would a 11x21 room/space cost with Ceiling Link(including cross tee's, main tee's, panels, etc.)(standard 2x4 $0.39 white panels)?

this would be for our basement.

please help..thank you..

Ceiling

I went to the Ceiling Link website. The calculations are for the grid system only. Ceiling Link does not sell the panels due to high shipping costs. The panels must be purchased locally.

ceiling panels

ceiling panels are mostly the easy thing out of the whole project.

they are less than .50 each at Home Depot.

..more suggestions/comments wanted.

Panels

I believe you are looking at the panel cost per square foot rather than for each panel. A 2 foot by 4 foot panel contains 8 square feet.

Ceiling Link Cost for 11 ft. x 21 ft. ceiling - approx. $160 plus shipping and tax.

Panels (@.39 per sq. ft.) approx. $100 plus tax.

cheap panels = chreap looking finish

If you decide to purchase 2x4 panels from Home 'Cheapo', DO NOT purchase the most inexpensive! What they won't tell you is that they will not hold their flat profile and will start to sag within one year of installation. Do yourself a favor and spend some of the $$ you save on the installation and buy some higher end tiles. You will not regret it.

I'm going to guess that after 6 years, this has been taken care of and long finished.
