loadbearing wall maybe?

im am trying to remove a wall in my dinning room , the house is aprox 100 years old . the wall i want to remove is in the dinning room its aprox 4 feet from the exterior wall. the floor beams are running the opiste way so i would guess the wall would support them but its so close to the exterior wall. theres nothing under it in the basement or a wall above it on the second floor either.

doesnt sound load bearing. A picture would be great. Why is there a wall in you dining room 4 feet away from the exterior wall?
