Regular Drywall vs. Type X Drywall

Regular Drywall vs. Type X Drywall

Is there a visible means of knowing if you are looking at regular drywll or "Type X" (fire rated) drywall--are they labelled or something?

It should be labeled. As far as I know, fire rock only comes in 5/8"thickness.
