exposed insulation for ceiling
my husband is building our guest house/game room and wants to have the ceiling as just exposed sprayed in insulation. Is there a name for this or does anyone have pictures of this so I can see if it is something I would actually consider. My husband says they have different colors and they can make it look nice. any suggestions?? we are trying to make this project as cost effective as possible without compromising the beauty of the structure too much.

Hi Hall of Texas, Can't help you with how it would look, but in my work we find most applications of spray on foam insulation have to be covered with a fire rated covering, usually sheetrock. Now I do know of, but have never used, a special paint that qualifies as the covering. I'll be watching the thread to see if this foam he is looking at has another solution.
