Match Drywall Texture
This is the outside corner of two walls.
The wall on the left has orange peel and the one on the right appears to have an almost smooth texture.
1. Does it have a texture?
2. How can I match the texture on the right?
We had some drywall work done and the guy sprayed a fine orange peel on the right, but it did not look right so told him to just wipe it off

You might should have waited for it to dry. Wet texture looses some of it's texture as it dries. I think a light orange peel was the right call, or maybe orange peel texture mixed with paint. You might pat some paint over the repaired areas with a sponge and see how that looks when dry.

Try doing the patch smooth. Then paint it with a large nap roller. If its too smooth then you can try to roll on a little texture. But from that picture it looks like the one side is smooth.

If you want to try to spray an orange peel texture on it, practice on some cardboard or waste wood until you're able to produce the texture you want. Then go to the wall.
