Question How can I reglue peeling vinyl wallpaper in my kitchen?

I have a beautiful printed self-adhesive vinyl wallpaper in my kitchen. I believe that it has been there for at least 10 years. The wallpaper itself still looks great and I am very happy with it.
The problem is that it has started peeling in several places. Not just seams, I mean halfway down the wall. How can I reglue these strips so I can enjoy the view again?
I have looked online, but there is very little info about regluing large sections; mostly seam work.
I appreciate any help that you can offer me, since I am retired and living on social security, meaning that I don't have the money to invest in stripping or painting over it.
Thanks bunches,
Sharon

Sharon, welcome to the forums! It appears the wall was not prepped properly prior to the installation of the wallpaper, hence the peeling. You may be able to get a wallpaper adhesive, spread it behind the offending places and roll it out with a wallpaper roller and wipe all excess off the wall. If you don't think that would work, post a couple of pictures of your areas (not macro shots) and post them on a site such as photobucket.com and copy/paste the IMG code to your reply post. That way we can see what you see.
