Towel rail?

Towel rail?

I don't know if this is the right forum but, I need to replace my existing porcelain towel rail with a new one. what is the best adhesive to use?

If it was embedded into a tile wall, you could use mastic or thinset, depending on which was used for the tile install. The pocket must be cleaned out completely for it to seat properly. Tape it to the wall to keep it from falling while the adhesive sets up. Don't forget to install the rod as you put in the second one, or you'll never get it in.
Now, you are using the term "rail". We think of it as a horizontal member, so if you are talking about the rod itself, you can buy new replacement rods with spring ends that will fit end pockets just fine.
