exposed paper tape during sanding--can I prime it
I sanded a little too far in a few high spots on some of my butt joints in the newly sheetrocked ceiling. They are small spots like a nickel or so in size.
Can I go ahead and prime over this? Will I see a big difference in the surface if I do this? Or do I need to apply another layer of mud, let it dry, sand again, etc. before I can prime?
Thanks!

Just remember anything you see with primer on is going to be even more obvious with paint on the wall - if the surface is any different, you're going to notice it
Myself, I'd apply more mud but it may work out just to go ahead and prime it

Thanks, everyone!
I went ahead and covered it again with a thin layer of mud. Better safe than sorry. Ceilings are a pain in the butt and I don't want to re-do anything later after it's all painted.
