wall paper removal with sizing
While removing wall paper my daughter discovered that the wall underneath had been sized. Does she have to texture the wall or can she just paint directily over it.

Why do you ask about texture
About the only reasons to texture would be to make the wall [s] match adjacent textured walls or if a lot of patching was poorly done - to minimize the eyesore.
As long as all the wallpaper adhesive has been removed, the wall should be paintable. If you can't remove all the adhesive you need to prime the walls with either Zinnser's Gardz or an oil base primer. A light quick scuff sanding is always advisable before applying any coating.
