New drywall in bathroom remodel

I am down to studs in bathroom remodel and was wondering what you guys thought as far as what to use. I am leaning towards the green colored drywall for the walls and tileboard for the walls inside the shower..Any thoughts?

I have no idea what the cost difference is between the green sheetrock and regular sheetrock so I guess that will be a deciding factor as well.

thanks for the input.

I wouldn't bother with the green drywall. Once primed and painted [with latex enamel] the drywall will have all the moisture protection it needs.

What do you mean by "tile board'? If you intend to tile the tub surround, you'd use cement board attached to the studs.

Thanks!..

Would you attach the cement board horizontal just like the sheet rock?

I don't know, I don't do much tile work, I'd probably hang it whichever way was easiest or produced the least amount of scrap. It would be best to ask in the tile section - the tile guys would know for sure....... although one of them might see your post here.
