Walk-in shower with glass and tile
I have a wall in the shower about 7ft tall that butts up against the sink cabinet is 3/4 tile inside the shower than 1/4 glass, on inside where frame for glasses is are 2 holes, why? On he outside just below the tile cap is metal rusting through. About 1 inch wide 2ft long then runs down support wall for glass door. Drywall below metal to top of the back splash on side top of cabinet/sink seems fine what caused rust? Could the 2 holes be some sort of drainage that was done poorly? Can it be patched or does the tile need to come off and be rebuilt, do I use the angle metal again?

I don't see the two holes that you refer to. The knee wall appears not to have been built correctly. That is, using sheetrock instead of concrete backer underlayment. There is no need for metal corners when using cbu. Does the glass extend all the way to the floor on the inside, or does it rest on the wall? What is on the inside of the wall? Tile? Can we see a pix or two of that?

Well, yeah, while you're wondering why your wall is rotting, ask why someone drilled holes to allow water in. Certainly they weren't thinking these would be weep holes of sorts
Don't shoot the messenger, but hard facts....you gotta rebuild that wall. You can see the tile pulling off, bad rust problems, etc. It won't go away on it's own. You may be lucky enough to remove the top glass panel, carefully demo the wall and rebuild it to the same dimensions. Worst case you would have to remove the door on the wall's short side.
Of course the way it is built, you may have other problems with the vanity, etc. as it all has to come out, too.
