Drywall AROUND hot water baseboads?

(Also posted in Patching and Plastering)

Hello all,

I recently had drywall put up throughout my house, which was previously covered, in 1/8” fake wood paneling. The drywall that went up is ½” thick so I was mentally prepared for the window jamb extensions and outlet extensions. But what do I do about my hot water baseboard? The drywall comes down and overhangs it by almost a half inch and the cuts that the crew made around it looked like a blind monkey with a box knife and small hammer went to town.

So instead of the sheetrock going down behind the hot water baseboard it almost looks as though the radiator is set into the wall a half inch. My question is how do I clean up the lines around it so that it hides the rough cuts? Other than putting baseboard trim around my radiators?

Thanks,
Adam
