Metal corners arching with house settling
Hi,
I have metal strips on the corners of my house. Where the house is only a few years old it has been settling and so i now have these metal strips bowing making arches of metal which is taking the plaster around it off.
I have tried to use a metal cutter to take out the arch in order to plaster the wall but I cannot get close enough to the wall as the metal is strong.
Any ideas how to get rid of it? Someone mentioned a grinder with a metal disc to me but I am not sure that it will work.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!
How much is your house settling? I don't think I've ever run across damaged corner bead from settlement, usually they get damaged from something heavy hitting them. I'd be concerned and check into the cause of the settling!
You could probably take a chisel and cut the corner bead - it's light weight metal.
