Sound Proofing Tips
We have a small room that contains our infloor radiant heat controls (pump) etc and the hot water tank used to run it. To me the sounds are normal but the wife is a very light sleeper and I am looking for ideas on how to reduce some of the noise. The main noise sources are the tank itself running when needed and the water pump opening and closing to control water flow into the system. The first door attached to the small room is a standard bifold door and the second separating another small room off of this to the main house is a light weight single door. Thanks for taking the time to read this post, system works good just a little noisy for the wife.

Would you have room to replace the bi-folding door with a standard door?
Those folding doors tend to have too much air space below and above them.

How long have you lived there? Most people get used to such noises after a while and they cease to be an issue.
