Installing Sheetrock ceiling to plaster walls??
I am installing a new Sheet rock ceiling after having removed old plaster ceiling.
The walls are still plaster whats the best method for the joint where the new ceiling SR meets the old plaster wall? Will a little roughing the existing walls be enough for the mud and tape to stick or should I go directly to more plaster since there may big some big gaps?

Mud will stick to painted walls just fine. If it's a high gloss paint, a quick rough sanding with course grit won't hurt. If you have big gaps, I would fill them with Durabond and let dry before taping.
