Sticky pads

Guys

This is what I need to do and need some help. I live in an apt and need to mount about 20 mason jars (1lb each) which have flowers on them on the wall. I don't want to buy shelving units, etc since this is only a temporary situation

I need something that sticks to the mason jar and then sticks directly onto the wall. The sticky Velcro may work but I don't think it'll stick to the painted wall. Anybody know any products from 3M which will do the job?

Thanks

If I caught one of my renters sticking anything to the walls, that would be a good enough reason to boot them out.
Concider mounting them to something that can be mounted to the wall like a picture.
A small hole would be easy to patch, sticky goo on the wall, not so easy.

My landlord in fact tells me to use these sticky pads rather than nails. He only wants me to use 2-3 nails for paintings and that's it

I believe 3M makes "Command" type hangers that leave no residue when they are released. They hold quite well, too.

Yep, 3M Command strips - I think they're rated to 3 # and there might also be a heavier duty version as well.

If you're thinking about hanging standard 1 qt. Mason jars with gravel, dirt and living plants in them, I suggest that you fill one, give it a good watering, and then weigh it before you decide on the hanging method. It might weigh a bit more than 1 lb.

guys - this worked well. There are command stickers that take 5lb as well but I really bought the value pack of 48 poster strips and they easily hold up 1lb

Thanks chandler and others!
