Sawing into a corner

I have cedar paneling covering all four walls of my living room (floor to ceiling) that I want to modify by cutting off the top 4' and turning the remainder lower portion into wainscoting by capping it. Obviously I can use a circular saw to make the initial horizontal cuts, but how do I get into the last few inches of each corner that a circular saw won't fit into? I could try a small hand saw but thought there might be a specific tool for this.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums Mark!

A tool like the fein multi master is tailor made for those types of cuts. I have the harbor freight generic model and have been pleased with it ..... but I don't use it commercially either

Why not just attach the wainscot over it?
