Removing glued drywall

Separated from How to remove drywall from cement wall?

I have drywall glued to wallpaper that's glued to a cement wall. What tool is best for removing?

Welcome to the forums!

Steam, detergent and any tool that will let you cut through the wallpaper to let the steam get behind it are often an effective combination.

I've actually used Tide or any other detergent - steam works well - the best thing is like NashKat said - you gotta cut it up and get it open so that you can soak/steam it and get whatever you're using into that glue - no matter what you use though, there's a good amount of elbow grease needed!
