Creating an outside curve with drywall
#1
We have a curved wall we are trying to recreate with drywall. The plaster was in such bad shape it had to come down. I've seen how to make a concave curve, like a barrel vault in a ceiling but this one is wrapping around an outside edge of a wall. What is the best method?

what you want is 1/4 inch drywall
start at one side bending it across the curve slowly to work out any bubbles
use alot of screws to make it conform to the curve
this should work just fine
also if you wet the back of the drywall before putting it up it will be more pliable
hope this helps------------josh
