Interior Paint Opiniions
New to this forum and curious to know the range of opinions on interior paints, particularly in the "middle price range." My search on this site has not turned up much of a discussion on this topic. Found a couple of Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams endorsements, not much else. Anyone care to weigh in?

Welcome to the forums!
I'm sure I know what your question is
Paint coatings are like most other things - you get what you pay for. The top notch coatings are almost always the best to use and the bargain basement coatings generally aren't worth using. Usually you are best off using the best coatings you can afford. For the most part, the higher priced coatings wear and cover better than their cheaper counterpart. IMO it's better to go cheap on the ceiling paint than the wall or trim paint.
Most every paint brand has cheap coatings and quality coatings along with a few in between. With SWP, the cheapest I would use is their ProMar 200 line. It's their best 'builders' type paint.

BM and SWP get endorsement because they work well. That said, I wouldn't use anyone's bottom of the line paint.
