Cleaning up Drywall Dust

Any tips, tricks, secrets, etc... for cleaning up drywall dust? I need to get it off the walls/ceilings before I apply primer. Also need to clean up a concrete floor that has a nice thick layer of it. I feel like I am just recirculating it whenever I try and use the broom to get it off the walls/ceiling.

I use the shop vac a lot.

The broom should at least dump it to the floor instead of the wall or ceiling.

I've heard of some using a tack cloth as well.

On the floor use sweeping compound. If the big box stores don't have it a janitorial supply place will.

I've always used my push broom [minus the handle for the walls] You don't have to remove 100% of the sanding dust but you do need to remove most of it.
