Sound proof insulation around heating ducts

I am sound proofing (or doing the best I can) my basement office ceiling. I am putting Roxul Safe n Sound in between the joists:
ROXUL DIY | ROXUL Safe ?n Sound Fire and Soundproofing Insulation

I have a section that has a heating duct that runs in between the joists but is pretty much flush with the bottom of the joists. The Roxul Safe n Sound is 3 inches thick and is supposed to be flush with the bottom of the joists also. So how can I install the Roxul around the heating duct? Can I wrap it around somehow?

The noise from the heating duct is one of the main reasons I am installing the Roxul so I want to make sure I get this area covered.

Any thoughts on how to get Roxul around it?

Thank for the help!

Can you add some 2x4s to the bottom of the joists?
