Garage Corners

I have a well insulated garagegarage (2x4 with batt) with about a foot of blown in insulation in the attic. When the wind blows straight line at the side of the garage, the corner of ceiling and wall build up with ice. Any ideas to help the issue?

Here is a thread in the insulation section of the forum discussing nearly the same problem.

I'm betting your problem is that wood is not a good insulator. The junction of the wall and ceiling has a lot of wood and no room for insulation. It's not a huge issue down here in NC but up there enough cold is being transmitted through the wood to allow frost to form inside.

Move south. It'll be in the mid-60's here all weekend.

What, your saying a week in the teens is bad? Minnesota.... Thanks! The other side of the garage is great, just the side being hit by wind is bad.
