Any tips to remove this epoxy?

I am looking for the best route to remove this epoxy from my bathroom walls.

There isn't any magic bullet for removing the mastic, did you read the responses in your other thread?

What do you plan on going over it with?
Tile, paint, wainscot ?

Id like to paint it if I can.

Yes mark, however, I was not sure if that was the best place for this question.

Ive read on some other sites that sometimes you can apply a solution which will help break it down for removal.

Im also going to attempt to steam it a bit this evening.

There are solutions or solvents that might work but you'd need to know more about the mastic before you know what will work ..... and often the fumes or possible damage to other areas make those solvents an unrealistic option. Usually if heat, water and/or elbow grease aren't effective - it best to scrape or replace.

No way are you going to be painting this.
Far faster and come out better to just remove and replace with new drywall, or go over it with 1/4" drywall.

what if I can get the majority of this off and float the wall back to level?

I really dont want to remove these walls, the plaster and lath will be such a mess.

If they are plaster I'd scrape and then skim coat.
