Small line in ceiling

Hey guys, I just primed my ceiling last night and it came out great except for 2 small spots. There are 2 lines are on 2 different butt joints and they were smooth before I applied the primer, looks to be right in the middle where the tape is.

I plan on just scraping it with my knife, sand it down, light skim, sand and re prime... thoughts?

They were likely there before you applied the primer, you just didn't see them. What kind of tape did you use? More mud and sanding is the fix.

fiberglass.... I'm 100% certain they werent there before I primed though which is bugging me, if anything it was a possible hairline crack that bubbled out the primer? Really strange because I spent HOURS making every joint smoooooooooth.

I know some people say they use ordinary joint mud over fiberglass mesh tape and have no problem. That has not been my experience. I always use setting mud on fiberglass tape. Maybe you spent so much effort getting the joint smooth that you ran over the tape enough times to cut it right at the joint where the two panels were just a bit different in height.
I am not sure more mud an sanding will solve the problem.

There are plenty of posts here about what to do next.
I like FibaFuse tape. or is it FibraFuse? Made by one of the companies that make mesh but far superior.

The self adhesive fiberglass tape has a poor track record I've seen in 'wrinkle' at the joint although it usually waits a few days/months. You'll need to re assess exactly what the line is to know if more mud/sanding will fix it or if you're better off removing the sticky tape and refinish with paper tape.

Eh I hope that's not the issue. My brother in law is a union sheet rock hanger, so he was able to get me the good fiberglass mesh tape that they use.
