Wall face isn't straight, thoughts?

Hey guys, I'm going to try to best describe what my issue is. I have a small wall and the face of it isn't square. One side is longer than the other by about 3/8-1/2" Basically to many hands touched this wall since everything else is perfect. I attached a picture with what I'm talking about. BTW, both sides do have corner bead and a coat of mud on them.
Can I just add ANOTHER corner bead to the short side or should I redo the drywall by myself this time

Your pic/link didn't work try this - http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-pictures.html

If you laminate over the wall it would be best to take off the existing corner bead, hang the drywall and then install a new corner bead.

I see the pic now exactly what is off? I'm not sure how more drywall will fix it

Is this the area you're talking about?

I'm wondering if maybe a piece of trash, nail or something has the drywall pushed out. Would it be worth tearing off the drywall and fixing what's underneath it ??

It looks fine, but I like things to be perfect LOL!! It's hard to describe without a better picture but if you look up the wall from the floor, it looks like a slightly twisted 2x4.

I'm having the boss look at it and see what she says.

Drywall is somewhat flexible and follows the framing. A good finisher can 'fix' some stuff but 3/8"+ is a bit much. Which wall is off? the side wall? or the end of the wall?

It's the face of the wall if you will.

A bit a shimming and replacing of the drywall should fix that. Or you could add a wood face to it.

Remove the corner bead on both sides, and then remove the drywall and shim the new, install new corner bead and finish with joint compound.

Well, now I have another issue... Wife looked at it and said "why dont we do this?"
Do you think this would be difficult to rig up?

Sure its possible. Take off the wallboard from the inside of room wall and end piece. Build another "wall" some distance away from it allowing for all necessary thicknesses needed for wine bottles and trim. Make sure you size it proper to give it proportion on each side. I think you're looking at least a 12" wide section. The term wasted space is relative. You're reducing your room size by at least 9". Some people would have a problem with that.
