I am attempting my first install of CeilingMax and finding it extremely difficult and time consuming. Runners are too thin and are difficult to install straight. I ended up making to spacer gigs to keep them straight and parallel. Cross T are also too thin therefore sag and do not support the weight of the tile. Putting in the last row is VERY difficult. Best answer is to cut 8ft pieces into 2ft to snap in for each individual tile. I dread ever having to remove a panel. I am a seasoned DYI and would not recommend this product. I may attempt to purchase a sample of CeilingLink to verify that it works. If not, I have to go back to conventional drop ceiling.

I need to remove a section of drywall where the person hanging it used nails around the edges. I would like to keep the drywall as intact as possible for re-use since it's 4.5' drywall that I'd have to replace at a specialty store. I wonder if anyone has any tips for getting the nails out with a minimum of damage? I was thinking of two options: 1. Push the nails through with a nail set. This would leave big holes, but would not mangle the drywall any beyond that. 2. Attempt to drill the nail head off. If anyone has any better ideas I would love to hear em. Thanks, -Tom
