Possibility of asbestos in drywall?

I'm in a house built in the mid 50's with drywall walls/ceilings. I want to install some recessed lighting but before I break any drywall - is it likely theres asbestos in the drywall? I assume so, but was asbestos used in drywall?

I've got an abatement company coming out, what all should I have them test?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums! Since they are coming anyway, have them test any hard set tile on the floor, sheetrock, pipe wrapping, exits for heat exchangers where it could have been stuffed.
