Should I even bother putting this drywall up?
I originally had this piece of drywall as two pieces, and quickly learned that I couldnt do the whole section at once. But apparently not before a corner got snagged against something and broke. Can I fix this corner, or should I not even bother putting it up? This may seem like a stupid question but I've never done drywall before.
Thanks!

yes you can fix it .........put a block of wood behind it befor you hang the drywall.
place the patch at the ceiling or the floor level....................not at eye level.
it will not stand out as much.

This will be behind kerdi membrane and tile if it makes a difference.
I CAN NOT TELL WHAT KIND OF DRYWALL YOU HAVE.
it sounds like you need a greenboard OR a special board for underlayment for tile(a WET location)
you should not use normal drywall board
i would use a concrete board made for tile underlayment

Guys, kerdi specifically says that using drywall under the membrane is preferred since its easiest to work with. The membrane is water and water vapor proof. So i'm not crazy.
