Hole in shower tile wall
My son knocked the soap dish off my shower wall and now I have a hole in the shower tile wall. Any idea how to fix this? It looks like there is some insulation behind the wall.

May be a fatal exposure - Was there drywall behind the tile? Most likely, the caulking failed, leading to moisture behind the soap dish which wet the drywall causing failure. I think you can chance a repair, but recommendations would not come with any guaranty's. Other sections of the drywall were also moistened when the exposure happened. My gut tells me that the whole wall is weak as a result. If you grab the tile left around the hole, can you wiggle it and the whole wall at the same time?
