I need to remove my room's wall and soundproof it

Hello, I have a new question regarding soundproofing the next door's neighbor's noise coming to my room. I am now willing to get rid of the original wall and am looking to have it completely filled but I need the MOST EFFECTIVE material there is. I don't care about how much it costs, I just need to get rid of it. I had an amateur mess my room up and I now need to get the correct materials. I know I want to use green glue between layers but I am unsure which one between Roxul SafenSound and RoxulAFB rockwoll insulation is better. Or if someone else can recommend another material that's better I would appreciate it.

Roxul is a great product, and less expensive than XPS. However, unless you decouple your sheetrock from the studs sound will still transmit, although the insulation will help some. Your walls are basically sound chambers, like a guitar. Sounds are vibrations and you must stop the vibrations to stop the sound.

Ok, I will do whatever is necessary. What do I have to do after decoupling the sheetrock from the studs? Apply the insulation and then cover it with another material?

You may see a substantial reduction in vibrations using the Roxul in the cavities, then over that glue 1/2" XPS. Once that dries, glue up the sheetrock. No fasteners. If you use fasteners to hold it up temporarily, be sure to remove them before finishing the wall. Others may have better solutions, so check back in.
