Feedback Wanted. Returning home to orignal 4 bedroom plans

We bought our home from the original owners/builders who changed the plans from having 3 bedrooms upstairs to only 2. This was done so the space from the third bedroom could be used for the master closet. We now want to remove the walk in master closet and return the house to 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 is downstairs). I have provided pictures of a rough diagram of the current layout and what we hope to achieve. ANY feedback on where to start, approximate costs, tips, etc. My husband is a great handyman and my father (retired master carpenter) said he would assist. I'm just looking for feedback, ideas from outsiders at this point. Anything we can do to make this transition easier, quicker, etc. THANKS ALL!

Welcome to the forums! You should have little problem returning the floorplan to the original. Mostly demo work on the closet wall and door, then rebuilding the hallway including installing the two original doors. Basically framing, electrical (which we can help on, too) and sheetrock work. I know I made it sound like a 30 second home show, but it is totally doable as a DIY project. If you have any specific questions, let us know.
