Benign crack or something to worry about?

Hi all

Got back from vacation and noticed this beaut in a bedroom on the 2nd floor of my expanded cape (so the slope to the left it the actual roof slope):

Crack starts on the ceiling and runs down the wall to the window. Is this something I need worry about, or just 'settling'?

How old is the wall? I'm assuming the window means it's an insulated, outside wall.

It's probably nothing to worry about but definitely something to keep an eye on just in case.

all the walls are external, except the ceiling (there is a crawl space above that). I had insulation blown in a year ago.

I dont know the age of the wall-- I think the mid-90s? Previous owners did the work.

Thanks for both the replies. I dont need another project right now!

Yeah, I'd keep an eye on it like Mark said. Let us know when/if you get to the point you want to try to repair it.
