This one is somewhat similar to one from below, still need help. I am removing a popcorn ceiling in my house. One of the rooms has a cathedral ceiling. Since I am not applying texture, having a perfectly straight line is important, at least for me J. How do I achieve the straight line on the middle joint? and a perfectly straight surface on the ceiling? Thanks for the advice.

I can't swear this will work, but have you tried using inside trim? It works just like the metal trim you use on outer corners to get nice straight corners, but you use in on inner corners.

I hope that makes sense, I've used it before on long inner corners that I needed to be perfectly straight.

GOod Luck
