First time doing remodel please help :)
I am going to do a remodel on my downstairs bathroom,
Couple of questions, First of which is this: what is the easiest way to remove this old plaster that is stuck to the concrete blocks? I have been using a angle grinder with a masonry disc and then an air hammer to kind of pry it off, works ok but kind of slow, any other ways to do this faster?
Second question is this, What are my options with the concrete behind there?
Can i tile directly to the concrete blocks if it is level? Does it have to get framed in first?
I might want to frame the shower part anyways but the part next to the toilet I think that there would not be ample room to sit on the toilet if I framed and tiled that wall.
Could I tile directly on that old plaster? Could I maybe glue some wood planks to the plaster or the cement walls there?

Welcome to the forums!
While you could set tile directly to the masonry IMO it would be best to frame it out to provide room for insulation. Any particular reason for removing the plaster?

For some reason I did not think about it and assumed they haddone the same on that wall as they had on the other walls where they had framed it then used drywall and plaster, i noticed drywall was moldy in some spots, figured it would need to all come out.
