Ceiling Idea for Vestibule below a Bathroom

Hey everyone,

I have a Vestibule entry that is right below our bathroom, there is currently insulated plumbing pipes in the unfinished ceiling of the vestibule.

So my question is, since there is plumbing, should I do a drop ceiling tile for the vestibule (that way i can still access the plumbing if needed, or should I do a drop Drywall ceiling to make it look much cleaner?

Thanks,

Matt

I vote for the drywall. It will look much better. Drop ceilings are a little out of style and are meant for rec rooms or stores.

If you're totally confident that the plumbing (I assume the drain) is in good shape then don't worry about it. If the job was completed by a professional they would drywall it.

And yes it can leak. Mine leaked. After fixing the drain, I re-dry walled the ceiling. No biggie.
