Wall and Ceiling Texture
My house had poorly done swirl textured walls and ceilings when I moved in. I redid the ceilings using the skip trowel since it's the easiest to cover imperfections. Now, my question is I want to fix the walls, is it considered bad to have the wall and ceilings both be the same texture or will it look weird being all skip trowel?

I've painted a lot of houses that had the same texture on walls and ceilings. There isn't any set of rules but rather what appeals to you ..... unless you are looking to sell. I'd probably skim coat the walls for a slick finish.
