Advice on walls

My wife and I just bought our house and decided to rip out a L shaped wall that seperates the kitchen from dining room. Its a single story trussed roof so I was hoping it wasnt load bearing. I pulled some sheet rock at the top and found 2 2x4s, and thought all was good. But when i got to the doorway i found a 4x12 header. Its nailed into one 2x4 and floating above the other. This wall runs parallel with the ridgeline and perpendicular to the joists. Other end of the L shape has 3 2x4s, and this wall is parallel with the joists. And where they meet, somone put in a janky bar top and cut out a chunk for a light switch leaving the wall loose. Ill attatch pictures. Id really appreciate any advice and insight into if these are load bearing, or if its just a big header for a doorway.

This is the 2x4s that were cut in order to put in a light switch. The wall that had the bar top is completely free floating from the other wall.Name: 20170406_200249.jpg

Between the header and the double top plate it has the indications of being a load bearing wall. What is directly above that wall? If attic, is it site built or have trusses?

Its trusses. No lapping joists anywhere. Which is why i was suprised by the size of the headers. They dont appear to have tension on them though.

Unless the truss end [supported by] on that wall, it isn't likely it's load bearing. Might be time to get a qualified person to come out and look at it. better safe than sorry
