Should I be worried about the drywall corner not landing on a support?
I have like 4 spots where the corner of the dry wall doesn't land on and support as you can see in the circled area from the picture. The dry wall is up but before I start taping I'm wondering if I should unscrew the drywall and place a block behind these areas or if once the mud is on if it will pretty much make one complete solid piece.

Not sure I understand. That looks like a complete sheet of drywall hanging where the red circle is. It looks as if there is not a sheet on the bottom.

I think I know what the problem is, and Marksr hit on it. If you are worried about where the next full sheet will land on the bottom, no, that is not a problem since the lateral board is so close to the top run. As long as the next full sheet will land on that vertical member we see under the plastic, then you are good.

Ok, I guess I didn't explain so well. I am referring to the drywall sheet that will go on the bottom. If you look through the plastic you can see where the furring strips are for the end of the 8 ft sheet of drywall to land in the middle of.
I didn't account for the fact that my sheet would run 2-3 inches above the concrete wall so the top right corner(where I circled) has nothing behind it. This picture is before I put up the bottom row of drywall.
I still haven't taped so if need be I could unscrew those few sheets and put a 2x4 or something behind it. Just rather not if it's not necessary.

If the void is just that 2 inches above the furring strip, you should be fine. What is going on that wall? furniture, audio visual equipment, or will it be an active wall that people may lean on?

czizz, I just measured and there is exactly 2.5 inches of top right corner that is free floating with no backing. The tv wall is to the right in the picture so I would imagine maybe a couch on that wall with a couple pictures hanging.

2.5" is nothing to worry about. It will be fine as you have that solid horizontal framing 2.5" from the joint everywhere.

Yes, I have a pressure treated 2x4 as a bottom plate to the wall that sits on that concrete half wall/foundation. Thanks guys
