Load bearing pony wall?
Just wondering if this pony wall is load bearing. I am thinking no because it is very flimsy. The wall use to separate a garage but the previous owner enclosed it all and put up this partial wall. I don't think the decorative spindles would be holding anything up? They aren't even on studs. I am only wanting to take down the pony wall nothing above or on the side. Thank you.
How do I load pictures?

The decorative spindles are not load bearing at all. Hopefully there is a substantial beam running across that area. Can you post a picture or two from the attic showing the framing for that area?

I looked in the attic earlier but couldn't get all the way inside due to not having a long enough ladder. The wall runs parallel to the joists but I will get inside the attic and look further and get some pictures. Just that it was an exterior wall has me concerned as I do not know if they renovated correctly. I have lived there 11 years with no problems so far. I have been wanting to remove that half wall for sometime. I can move it back and forth so it is pretty weak. Thank you all for such quick replies.
