Buckling Tounge and Groove Siding

Greetings!
I have vertical tounge & groove siding on my interior walls, in our Great Room.
The home was built in 1959 and we purchased it a year ago, and had a new roof put on at that time.
Over the past month, the t & g has begun to buckle in 7-8 seems on two separate walls.
I had a foundation Company out, with a GPS system, to check the pier and beam foundation...all was great!
I have been in the Attic 3-4 times and can find NO signs of any moisture.
I am having a difficult time trying to determine why materials built in 1959 would suddenly began to buckle???
Any suggestions???
Thanks!

Seems like more than a coincidence that the buckling started after the roof was done. Sounds like high moisture in the walls. Could be coming from the roof, soffit or siding.

I would also think that you somehow missed the moisture. I'd be sure to have someone come and take a look at it, so you don't end up with mold problems as a consequence too, just in case, and obviously making sure the space is well vented.

Thanks

Thanks guys for your suggestions!
since the issue is on different walls, approx 20' apart, I can't see moisture being an issue!
I am leaning towards bringing in a second foundation Company to check all the pier and beams...
We have had a couple of door issues since posting the first posting.
The siding is 15-16' long at the worst point and opens into the attic...I am ready to pull the siding at all 10 buckles, just hate to allow all the Texas heat in at this time, lol!
Thanks again!
