drop ceiling identification

I have a drop ceiling in the basement of a house I just bought and I'm trying to identify a manufacturer because only about half the basement is complete.

There are numbers and arrows that are dimpled into the back of the panels. I don't know if it's a manufacturers date or a model number.

The markings look something like this:
02->5->3-> 02->5->3->
->->->-> ->->->->

Anybody recognize it?

You are probably going to have to do the hard work yourself. I would not focus on the numbers so much but start looking in home centers and lumber yards for panels that match.

Are they 2x2, or 2x4? Square edge or tegular? What's the pattern? Just giving us a number and no picture isn't a lot to go on. Maybe if you remove more tiles you will find a sticker on one, or on the grid that will at least give you a clue as to the brand name.

The code is probably a mfg date.

I do have pictures on my phone but I don't think I can post right from my phone.

They're 2x4, square edge. They have that pattern that looks like termites ate through the panel.

Found a sticker on the grid. The bar code is for USG. If those numbers are a manufacture date as in 5/3/2002 hopefully they still make something that will match.

Thank you, sir. That would make sense since that's the closest hardware store. Previous owner probably shopped there a lot.
