Making my own support beam

Hi I have a bungalow and I want to take down the main wall it’s a 15 ft span the only weight it it carrying is the drywall and the 2x4s I was wondering it I could use 3 2x6x16 as a support any suggestions??

So, are you trying to say the wall is not load bearing? If so, why do you need a beam?

The maximum a 2x6 can span is about 11ft. You need to be thinking more about using 2x10.
