In need of help identifying drop ceiling material

Hello! Thank you for allowing me to post. My partner and I moved into this house last year and are looking to fix some broken drop ceiling panels. Upon inspection, these panels are incredibly light and made of what feels (and sounds) like thin styrofoam. After much searching of the internet I cannot identify what these actually are or where to find more. Any help would be appreciated, see pics/video!

I wouldn't worry so much about identifying the material. What you really need to do is start searching for a tile that looks the same. I have seen pebbled look tiles similar to that so you should be able to find something similar. Most home centers don't keep a great variety in the store so you may have to special order. If you can't find a texture and sheen that matches exactly you could consider replacing all your ceiling tiles.

It very well could be styrofoam as I have seen that before being used in suspended ceilings. However, they could also be discontinued.

Luckily, most ceiling grid is compatible with most ceiling tiles. I suggest going to the local hoe store and picking out some new ones.
