Do I need to replace Sill Plate

Hi All,

I noticed water damage on my sill plate when replacing floor. I found the source of the water is improperly installed stucco and weep screed. The wood is soft to the touch (with a screwdriver), I can push the screwdriver in about 1/8". See attachment.

Does this look like it needs to be replaced?

Not if it only goes in 1/8".

Would an epoxy sealer be useful here to prevent further rot?

The only thing that will really help is making sure the water does not return!
