Load bearing partial wall help.

Load bearing partial wall help.

I plan on removing half of the partial wall in the picture to open up our living room. How can I determine if it’s load bearing at all?

That looks like a privacy wall to block the stairs and second floor from view.

Sorry I failed to mention that this is a 2 stores condo. Above it is the 2nd floor of the condo. There doesn’t appear to be anything above it in the second floor.

No way to know without seeing how the ceiling and stairway opening was framed. You would have to remove drywall to expose the framing to even have a clue.
