Durock Screws possible fail?

I put on a piece of durock for my fireplace, but then had to remove it and flip it over because I didn't have the seam edge at the fireplace opening, I had the cut edge. It looked nicer, but now I realize I need to get at the electrical wiring behind the durock to allow the inspector to see it in order to pass inspection. How many times can I unscrew and re-screw durock before the "anchoring" is weakened excessively? Thanks so much in advance!

If it was in a wet area where the finish would be scratched off I might have a minor concern, anywhere else, no concern!

You can always put screws in additional places. It all gets mudded over when you tile so all that matters is that it is secured to the wall tight.
