What strength magnet for finding metal studs?

I have a music rehearsal space and the management says the rooms are framed with metal studs. I tried using a magnet previously to find them with no luck. I'm guessing I needed a heavy duty magnet. Any recommendations on how much pull of a magnet I should get?

If you do a search you'll find many different metal locating magnets.
This is the one I carry.... it works fantastic.
You just roll it over the wall........ it sticks to screws, nails and metal studs.

Or any conventional stud finder for wood or steel is a good choice. Someone on here some time back found the Walabot stud finder worked pretty good.

It looks like 5/8" sheetrock but could be more.

I have one of these but it wasn't strong enough. And I'm skeptical of the stud spacing as I found the dry wall seems and figured that would be a stud.

Worst case scenario you drill a small hole where you think the stud is. Small holes are easy to repair.
