Hi, I am remodeling my bedroom and want to do an open ceiling concept with exposed beams/ faux beams. I was wondering if I could remove the ceiling joist that was holding up the old flat ceiling. ( this room used to be a garage and it was converted to a master bedroom.
Im currently missing some drywall. I started with the “Sheetrock” green top 4 gallon. It dried white. I needed a bit extra and bought A 3.5 qt of the same type. It dried a darker grayish color. I have to install some motorized blinds in some windows that are high off the ground - they are approximately 18' feet off the ground. I already own a 17' Little Giant Alta One ladder that could potentially work - my issue is when this ladder is fully extended it is way too wobbly/bouncy and I just don't feel stable on it when going up that high.
I think it is time to invest in a taller ladder...possibly in the 18' - 20' range. Any recommendations?Read More
