I am wanting to knock a wall out to make a room larger and redo the remaining walls. The home is a 1970 mobile. What do I need to do? I have no idea how to get started. The current walls are paneling. Could someone tell me step by step what to do. I suppose I should redo the walls with new paneling. Would that be the easiest? Please help.

Hi tmoise, theres a few things you have to know before you start taking down a wall.First, you have to make sure its not load bearing, second, are there any electric outlets on either side of the wall, and Are there any a/c or heating ducts in the wall. You have to know these things before you take the slegde hammer to it
